dc.description.abstract	This seminar was a public lecture hosted by The Cosmopolitan Civil Societies Research Centre. Patrick Bond is a Professor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal School of Development Studies, Durban, South Africa. He is also the Director of the university’s Centre for Civil Society. Climate change and the global justice movement debates and how it relates to water management. Should water be commodified or de-commodified and how does it fit into a progressive civil society? What are the implications of pre-paid water meters and what should the price of water be? What implications for water management does carbon emissions trading have? This seminar discusses the public action occurring in response to water issues as well as the human rights of societies to have access to publicly supplied, freely available water.	en_AU
