dc.description.abstract The communications platform of the Internet and the World Wide Web has provided a new medium for disseminating the work of museums and cultural institutions. In this article, we argue that while we remain influenced by the technology and systems-thinking which built the platform, we have not re-thought its creative possibilities for education, communication and expression of cultural values.
