© 2015 Taylor & Francis. The papers of radical feminist writer Monique Wittig (1935–2003) are now available for researchers to consult in Yale University’s Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. This article provides an account of the provenance of the collection, its holdings and its passage to the Beinecke. In particular, it explores what has and has not survived and highlights the timeliness of the opening of Wittig’s papers in terms of current speculation around the history and archiving of feminism as a movement.
