Reports on arsenic phytoextraction by biodegradable chelating ligands are limited. The synergistic influence of biodegradable chelating ligands (other than EDTA) on the increase of iron bioavailability and arsenic phytoextraction is investigated with the research approach to increase arsenic and iron availability to the plant using biodegradable chelating ligands.
