In the past Brisbane was called as Deep North. Queensland was described as a cultural backwater lacking bookshops, political pubs, radio and television networks and publishing centres. Yet Brisbane created Australia's most radical politics and music station 4ZZZ-FM. This paper describes the emergence and the reason of emergence of this new station
