The creep analyses of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) structures are often based on the deterministic parameters for creep and shrinkage of the concrete core. However, a number of parameters for creep and shrinkage of the concrete core such as the final creep coefficient, aging coefficient, and final shrinkage strain are subjected to some amount of uncertainty, which have to be considered in the analysis. Although a routine stochastic method can be used, the method presumes the statistical parameters of the uncertain quantities to be known, which have to be inferred from site measurements. However, the available data for such measurements are often limited in permitting the stochastic method to be used. This paper accounts for the uncertainties of the parameters related to creep and shrinkage of the concrete core by use of interval modelling of their uncertainties to investigate the creep behaviour of pin-ended CFST arches. Both the upper and lower long-term responses of CFST arches are derived.
