dc.description	Reports on a study that aims to develop a framework for defining and measuring the creative industries and provide a statistical summary of its economic dimensions in Australia. Demonstrates that the creative industries are a growth sector, while acknowledging that this is difficult to measure in comparison to other industries. Authors draw upon Australian Census data and IBISWorld estimates to support claims made about the growth and significance of creative industries. Different segments are considered, including music & performing arts, television & radio, advertising & marketing, software development & interactive media, writing & publishing, architecture & design, and embedded creatives.	en_US
