This article examines intra-group claims based on the principle of knowing receipt. There is significant uncertainty in this area of law, both in the group context and generally. In particular, there are complexities with the attribution to a grouped company of any knowledge that may be required. These complexities are explored but ultimately the law in this area will remain relatively unsettled until more solid conceptual foundations of the claim are established.
