This paper will outline a range of strategies that seek to 'make sense' of Aboriginal Studies for participants in teacher education programs through co-requisite, experiential learning opportunities in educational and community settings. The paper outlines the author's undertaking over several years to Indigenise the practicum program that has been operating within the REd. (primary) courses at UTS and to frame it's potential relationship to the teaching ofIndigenous Australian studies.
