pubs.rights-statement	OE House is single family house build in Alforja, Spain. This research sits in the fields of domestic architecture, typological studies, and design strategies. The link between the use of collage and the development of modern architecture being well documented. However, this technique has rarely been used to compose actual fragments of architecture. The research question addressed in this project is: What are the unforeseen typological innovations that can emerge from the use of collage as design tool? Researching the local constructions, we developed a series of technical solutions that mixed the masia (traditional Catalan rural home) and an industrialized warehouse. Developing open source systems and interchangeable ingredients, we reclaimed the almost forgotten local technique, the volta catalana, and adapted industrialized components to reduce kit construction processes to twelve months. Its value has been attested to by the following indicators: OE house was included in the Spanish Pavilion at the XV Venice Architecture Biennale (2016) and XIII Spanish Architecture Biennial, selected for the 2016 FAD prize (Festival of Arts and Design Barcelona), and published in international reviews including Arbitare.	en_US
