The main objective of our work is to develop an efficient model for the electromagnetic scattering from large scenes composed by targets (metallic objects) placed in natural environment (dielectric objects). A hybrid volume/surface model is used to describe both forest environments and metallic structures. Large portion of forest can be analyzed using a CBFM approach able to significantly reduce the dimension of the linear system that has to be solved.	en_US

Abstract:

The main objective of our work is to develop an efficient model for the electromagnetic scattering from large scenes composed by targets (metallic objects) placed in natural environment (dielectric objects).
