dc.description.abstract	Won via competition, Periscope Canopy serves as a functional centrepiece and iconic gateway to a major urban renewal of Lane Cove’s commercial core. The reflective underside of the roof visually connects the subterranean supermarkets and car parking to the landscaped public domain and eating precinct above. Demonstrating the transformative potentials of design, the project creates an engaging, safe and highly memorable urban space that the community has already strongly embraced.
