This report summarises and synthesised the efforts of the students, staff and partners involved in UTS 94663 Navigating Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Initiating Change. The subject (94663), is an intensive-mode subject that is a core part of the UTS Diploma in Innovation at TD School and runs for three weeks in July. In this subject, students are tasked with defining and exploring an entrepreneurial ecosystem, understanding its history and visualising its current state. Based on that knowledge, they then develop proposals that will bring the ecosystem forward. This is an abridged summary of their reports, each of which contains a given ecosystems’ (i) history, (ii) current state, and (iii) development proposal. Ecosystem boundaries were defined by industry partners to focus on: • Bayside Council, • Canterbury-Bankstown Council • Sutherland Shire Council • Southern Sydney region (inclusive of the above) • Wollongong City Council • Illawarra region (Wollongong and beyond)
