dc.description.abstract	The project 'Held' is an installation consisting of ten moving image works and three large scale photographs. The project depicts people embracing at a time when touch poses a public risk. The embrace is enacted on top of an invisible rotating stage to dramatic effect with each couple appearing statuesque. The photographs similarly capture a body embracing itself.
