Several battery balancing strategies have been reviewed in this work, along with their benefits and drawbacks. Dissipative, non-dissipative, and hybrid techniques are the most common. It has been highlighted how they have been compared to one another. A detailed comparative view of battery balancing topologies of equalizers has been performed by a tree diagram associated with a comparison table. After that, equalizers are also classed according to their control methods.
