A diligent full wave analysis is performed to investi-gate the potential of dielectric covers in suppressing the undesired lobes in a Near-field Meta-Steering system. The phase-gradient metasurfaces with dielectric covers show lower side-lobe levels in the predicted 2D far-field patterns.
