A miter gate is a complex spatial thin-walled structure composed of main beam, diaphragm, water retaining panel and secondary beam. Its working mode is completely different when closing the door to block water or opening and closing. Also, its mechanical characteristics are also completely different, and the optimal design of miter gate becomes very important and necessary. In academic circles, the finite element method has been used to optimize the design of large miter gate. According to the structural characteristics of miter gate, an intelligent integrated modeling method is proposed in this study, which integrates geometric modeling software Solidworks, professional meshing software HyperMesh and finite element calculation software ANSYS. The parametric and assembly geometric models are established, the refined finite element mesh is generated, and the data interface module seamlessly connected with the finite element analysis software ANSYS is developed. Finally, the intelligent integrated modeling of miter gate finite element model is realized.
