dc.description.abstract	A baseline study about repair policy, services and infrastructure was conducted in 2017 by Francesca Sidoti, supervised by Abby and Alison as design researchers, with a focus on the Local Government Area of Parramatta, New South Wales (NSW), Australia. The study set out to investigate the capacities of repair services to respond to the problems of waste and the unsustainable rates of divesting unwanted goods, and identify strategic opportunities for connecting community, education, not-for-profit and local government sectors in Western Sydney in social learning about repair.

Abstract:
