dc.description.abstract	Blockchain has great potential and promise in the healthcare sector, even though it has not yet seen widespread adoption. One of the main challenges with blockchain adoption is IT employees’ awareness and knowledge. IT knowledge reduces adoption uncertainty and a basic understanding of blockchain and its features is necessary. This study evaluated the knowledge of IT employees who work in Saudi public hospitals and suggested a roadmap to blockchain adoption in hospitals.

Abstract:

Blockchain has great potential and promise in the healthcare sector, even though it has not yet seen widespread adoption.
