dc.description.abstract	This report provides a review of policy developments and debates in this space in recent decades, and an overview of the Aboriginal community-controlled media ecology in Australia and NSW. It summarises key insights from existing scholarship and learnings from government commissioned research and evaluation on the benefits and affordances of Aboriginal community-controlled media, and considers what further knowledge and research is needed to facilitate and support the role of Aboriginal community-controlled media, and support government communication strategies with Aboriginal communities.
