This paper proposes an isolated single-input multiple-output (SIMO) buck-boost DC-AC inverter. It performs a single-stage DC-AC power conversion from a DC input into multiple independent AC outputs. Compared with its counterparts, the proposed inverter achieves a wide range of output voltages. By employing isolation between the input and outputs, this inverter enables high-power wireless power transfer applications without compromising safety and stability. It carries the conspicuous advantages of simple circuit structure, small form factor, and high scalability. The simulation results confirm the feasibility of the isolated single-input three-output (SITO) buck-boost DC-AC inverter topology without cross-regulation.
