dc.description.abstract	Queer Representation Matters (Krikowa 2023) is an online interactive documentary (i-doc) that explores historical and contemporary issues of queer representation in screen media in Australia and overseas. The documentary draws from interviews with queer screen media scholars, screen practitioners and film festival curators, to investigate storytelling tropes such as "bury your gays" and "cancel your gays" within an industrial context to highlight the importance of representation of queer people and stories in screen media.

Queer Representation Matters (Krikowa 2023) is an online interactive documentary (i-doc) that explores historical and contemporary issues of queer representation in screen media in Australia and overseas. The documentary draws from interviews with queer screen media scholars, screen practitioners and film festival curators, to investigate storytelling tropes such as "bury your gays" and "cancel your gays" within an industrial context to highlight the importance of representation of queer people and stories in screen media.
