The paper examines the ways in which the inclusion of eco-technologies in high-rise towers is made visible through architectural framing as well as through publicity and media releases. It suggests that, as eco-technologies, do not yet pay for themselves in energy savings at this scale, corporations and developers seek returns through enhanced status as 'green' companies.
