Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) is a way to provide security for exchanging keys among communicating parties using the Diffie Hellman key exchange algorithm. This paper presents the ECC implementation for identity-based signature authentication and then applies the knapsack algorithm on ECC for signing a message. The group signature is the concatenation of the identity-based signature with the user's public key. In this paper, we attempt to provide a secure ID-based group signature scheme by using knapsack based ECC. © 2012 IEEE.
