dc.description.abstract	© Ota Novotny, Praha, Czech Republic. Cloud adoption is frequently regarded as an IT issue without considerations of the impact on the organization as a whole. Cloud adoption conducted on the basic of selecting individual IT assets for cloud deployment without an overall plan developed in the context of enterprise architecture can lead to a failure to attain the anticipated benefits of cloud computing. In this paper we argue that cloud adoption should be conducted in the context of a framework that involves developing adoption plans at strategic, tactical and implementation levels. The proposed framework provides a structured method for the adoption of SaaS applications in organizations with significant investment in IT infrastructure and on-premise enterprise applications.	en_US
