This audit benchmarks AACA processes in migration assessments against processes used by other professional assessment authorities. It reviews information supplied by the AACA to applicants for clarity and consistency. It reviews internal assessment process for procedural fairness. It identifies additional information to be sought from applicants to assist in the assessment process. It identifies additional training and resources to support staff and expert assessors and to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the assessment process. The audit includes the preparation of new application forms, new guides for staff and assessors to ensure consistency and equity in assessment process, and a new training package for AACA staff.
