From turing machines to dynamic networks: The future of computational art systems

The paper briefly considers the conceptual and actual developments in art as a result of advances in computation and communications. It postulates various advances and developments that might take place in the future and expresses the view that, in the long term, computation itself, as introduced by Alan Turing will prove to have changed art practice in the most profound way.
