This chapter uses the experience of settler societies in general, and Australia in particular, to explore the discursive turmoil generated when disability meets multiculturalism. Our aim is to elucidate what disability culture might involve, and then interrogate multiculturalism through a disability lens. The end point would be a way of thinking about cultural diversity which valorises disability as a dimension of normal difference in pluralist societies.	en_US
