© Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2015 Augmented Reality (AR) technology is increasingly being adopted within the education sector. Technological advancements are changes of users attitudes toward the pedagogical and psychological objectives and goals. This literature review aims to show how the AR technology has evolved to suit specific demands of the education sector. AR technology allows flexible, convenient and effective solution that can enhance the learning outcomes using its various forms and techniques. However, there is a demand to tailor the technology and align it with the ever changing requirements and capabilities of various users in order to improve interactive effectiveness. In this chapter, a case study on AR and Smart-Grid monitoring system show how could be achieved through the video stream and website detection.
