pubs.rights-statement	This report analyses factors influencing the success of a successful vaginal delivery after a previous caesarean section. The data used in this analysis was obtained from the databases at John Hunter Hospital. Specific factors assessed include:  Maternal characteristics: age and body mass index (BMI),  Pregnancy characteristics: gestation time  Use of labour inducing techniques: syntocinon, artificial rupture of membranes (ARM) and cervical ripening balloon (CRB).  Birth Weight The report found several of these characteristics to be signisificantly associated with a successful vaginal birth after a previous Caesarean birth. These results would be of interest to medical practitioners (specifically gynecologists and midwives), government health agencies, the world health organisation and potential mothers.	en_US
