The research designs an educational module for studying and working respectfully on Gadigal and Bidjigal Country. Many organisations, councils and educational facilities in Sydney are unaware of Gadigal and Bidjigal protocols and history even though they acknowledge that Sydney is the land of the Gadigal and other Saltwater Basin Traditional Descendants. This study involves interviews with Elders and knowledge holders, yarning circles and archival research into Gadigal and Bidjigal protocols and history. The investigation is guided by Indigenous research and Country led design principles in creating an educational module for students and workers coming to and living on Gadigal or Bidjigal Country.
