dc.description.abstract	This desktop report aimed to draw attention to the various factors associated with track usage and visitor experience in national parks. A research classification spreadsheet was constructed in order to draw attention to the current state of academic research in this area. The main factors found to influence the track experience were congestion, interaction between trail user groups and environmental degradation. In addition to the classification of academic research this report also examined current management planning and visitor research conducted in three New South Wales national parks in order to provide examples of best practice that would be relevant to New South Wales stakeholders.	en_US
