This chapter examines practical instructional design responding to the challenge of teaching music business and professional practice skills to tertiary students in the Bachelor Music and Sound design programme at the University of Technology Sydney between 2018–2020. The chapter draws on focus group and content analysis research methods involving students as key informants in the evaluation of the teaching modality.
