dc.description.abstract	A qualitative interpretative study was conducted using a descriptive methodology, to explore EPPMs experiences of providing homebirth services. This study affirms the importance and value of continuity of midwifery care, as EPPMs highlight its critical role in building and maintaining trust with women choosing home birth. The insights gained will help inform recommendations for stakeholders aimed at increasing access to homebirth for both women and midwives in Australia. Furthermore, this research study reinforces the validity and credibility of the EPPMs framework in Australia and advocates for a broader adoption of midwifery led models for women and their families. Importantly, as far as we are aware this is the only study in Australia which explores EPPMs experiences of providing homebirth. Findings from this study demonstrate that EPPMs contribute to reduced intervention, increased rates of waterbirth, and decreased reliance of use of pharmacological pain relief, thereby promoting safer and cost-effective care at home and/or hospital. To enhance professional practice and midwifery leadership, continued research in this field is vital for expanding knowledge and reinforcing the perception of EPPMs and midwifery within the broader community.	en_US.UTF-8
