This study provides an update of ecotourists travel motives, perceived value and experience, and behavioral outcomes in China. Using a qualitative research approach with 20 interviews, the authors show that tourists generally are apathetic about learning the nature. Rather, they were more interested in self-enjoyment and health. Differences among informants were also observed. This study concludes with implications to the literature and practitioners.
