dc.description.abstract	In this paper we discuss light emission from thin films of ZnSe obtained by atomic layer deposition (ALD). Due to the color mixing of band edge and two deep defect-related emissions of ZnSe, the ALD films emit white light. Tuning of color temperature is demonstrated in cathodoluminescence experiments. We report that chromaticity parameters can be varied by a change of accelerating voltage or excitation density. © 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.	en_US
