This study describes a case report where there was uncertainty as to which lymph node was the sentinel lymph node postlymphadenectomy. The matter was resolved by using a novel technique to analyse the antimony levels of the tissue paraffin-embedded specimens. This is the first report of this technique being used to facilitate clinical decision-making. Melanoma Res 18:365-366 © 2008 Wolters Kluwer Health | Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
